The medieval town grew westward, but the limited size of that area pushed it eastward, along the seaside.
An eastern coastal path takes you on an easy ride along a line of sandy and pebble beaches with lots of charming outdoor cafés. The area is known as a party zone for locals and is a popular strolling area all year round.
The tour also provides a look into the peaceful quarter of early 20th century housing and ends with refreshment in the area.
